Last year I trialled a new coaching program with clients for Ditch the Diet & Face the Feelings. It gave clients the option of three 20-minute accountability calls each week rather than one weekly coaching call.  The results from it were astounding for those clients used to dieting and weekly weigh-ins.

Why?

Because the weekly accountability calls enable them to fudge the process as they would with a diet: to follow it only for the two or three days before the call, rather than living the process every day of the week. Continue reading Accountability: how to get better results

Internal self-awareness: how to trust your heart, mind and gut

Self-confidence is built on self-awareness. I have discovered – many times over – that clients who develop their interceptive skills live powerfully authentic lives.  It is this internal self-awareness that allows you to consider whether you:

  • follow your heart;
  • listen to your gut; or
  • sit with your thoughts.

But this is not a multiple-choice question where there is only one “right answer”.  You build trust and confidence in yourself when you align yourself (thoughts, feelings, beliefs, values and passions) with your actions.

Your sense of self is much greater than just your brain and mind, and you are not your thoughts, emotions, or even your actions. If you delve into this, you will notice you are the thinker, feeler and doer!
