Radical Forgiveness bookclub: how to do the inner healing

Radical Forgiveness, forgive yourself, forgive others, healing, learning, book club, bookclub, free give away

A new book club group kicks off in early July. We will be reading Colin Tipping’s “Radical Forgiveness: A Revolutionary Five-Stage Process to Heal Relationships – Let Go of Anger & Blame – Find Peace in Any Situation”.

What to expect in our book club:

As the book has 30 chapters, we will be meeting over ten weeks and discussing three chapters each week. You should read in advance and come ready for the discussion. Join us for the meeting if you still get behind in the reading.

Skim reading is also an option when you’re running late!

As with all of my book club discussions, our discussion of Radical Forgiveness will not just be about “What did you learn?”. The most significant debate will be “How are you applying what you learned in your life and relationships?“.

All knowing is doing!

And that’s the natural beauty of what happens in my book club discussion groups! We don’t just learn together. We put it into practice and discuss the ups and downs.

Radical Forgiveness: the details

We are meeting on Wednesdays, with two times available.

Radical Forgiveness, Colin Tipping, book club, discussions, heal relationships, let go of anger, inner peace,

The earlier option allows readers in the UK and Europe to join us.

Radical Forgiveness book club, bookclub, Colin Tipping, Divine purpose, freedom, peace, inner mastery,

This second option is later for those in the Americas but is also open to those in New Zealand and the eastern side of Australia (my apologies to those in Perth).

The start date is Wednesday – July 6th. It will run for ten weeks, finishing the first week of September. It’s okay to miss a week or two if you are on summer holidays.

If you miss a week or get behind on the reading – skip ahead. Catch up with the chapters we are discussing, then go back to what you missed.

We do not RECORD these sessions – to ensure the privacy of the discussions!

Cost: almost free (purchase Radical Forgiveness yourself)

  1. You need to buy the book!
  2. Your time and effort: reading weekly and then showing up for the discussion.

So, you see, while I’m not charging you for it – you will have to invest time and money to take advantage of this!

I believe you can purchase the book on Amazon – it is available on Kindle and Audible if you prefer to listen to it. I always like the book in my hands – and it’s underlined with messy notes in the margins! But that’s me.

For more information, join my Facebook group for the book club. It has the times, and each week I will post the details of which chapters we are reading and occasionally post my favourite quotes.

How stress, fear and anxiety rob us of the ability to make good decisions

stress, fear, anxiety, mental state, calm, relaxed, emotional state, physiological, make good decisions, decision-making ability, balanced breathing, digestion, gut instinct, self-awareness, mindfulness, brain dump, journaling, morning pages, commitment, self-compassion, acceptance, letting go, cybernetic loop, connection, inner circle, feelings, desires, values, priorities, connection, perspective, brainstorming, planning, obstacles, challenges, personal identity, safety and security, risk, courageous, fight, flight, freeze, fatigue, irritable, flow state

While the news media is only partly to blame, making a killing of FUDGE (fear, uncertainty, doubt, greed, and envy), they are not the sole culprits. We live in a world where fear, stress, and anxiety are normalised. Each one of us chooses, on some level, to play this game. Or at least, we pretend that we have no other choices.

But, how do we make good decisions from a state of fear, stress and anxiety? In many ways, we’re hampered by tunnel vision, unable to see options broader than the scope of escaping the immediate threats that we perceive. We move towards safety rather than seeing the broader opportunities available to us. Continue reading How stress, fear and anxiety rob us of the ability to make good decisions

Releasing Storage – unburden yourself

releasing storage, lose weight, unburden yourself, release the storage

How many times have you lost weight, only to discover that you have put it all back on again?  Releasing storage from our body is not simply diet & exercise – although those are key! Exercise combats type 2 diabetes better than any medicine invented so far – but do you have what it takes to keep up with a new exercise regime and not fall back into a sedentary lifestyle?

Understanding the relationship between our fat cells, their positive role in our bodies and health, and your habits, beliefs and thought patterns is essential for a healthy life! Our fat cells serve many purposes, not simply holding fat.

Forgiveness: release & letting go

Forgiveness, new life, growth, strength, peace, release, letting go, let go, lesson, Ho'oponopono, I love you, I'm sorry, Please forgive me, thank you

As I learn about forgiveness, I realise the first requires acknowledging the existence of my pain & feelings. They say Dis-Ease comes from Unforgiveness (Louise Hay)We carry around, within our body (emotions that we haven’t allowed to pass through), the pain.

My definition of pain is simply this: Please. Acknowledge. Information. Now.  And until we acknowledge the information – until we name the pain – we cannot forgive!

In my spiritual studies, reading Paul Hasselbeck’s “Point of Power“, I learned “events are simply neutral“.  God (the Universe if you prefer) is not trying to “teach me a lesson”.  In fact, the events, themselves, do not teach me anything.  I, on the other hand, am the one choosing what lesson I learn from any given event or situation.  As Paul says:

I am the point of Power;
I am the one who chooses the lesson I learn.

Playing small? Not any more!

Stop playing small, transformation, change, growth, personal transformation, personal development, coach, coaching, life coach, mBIT, mBraining, head, heart, gut, brains, expectations, letting go, release, playing second fiddle, performing, performance, sad, sadness, unhappy, happiness, joy

I'm done with playing small, just so that others can feel comfortable, playing small.  I’ve done “poor me”… but I am all done with “poor me”.  I’ve stopped dreaming and striving for great when someone has said: “now you’re scaring me“. But no more. No more playing small.

I stopped studying when others told me that I didn’t need any more degrees to hang on the wall. Then I realised that it wasn’t the certificates on the wall that truly fulfilled me.

I stopped building my business when others told me it was getting too big.

I stopped personal development when “they” told me I should just recognise my limitations.

No more.

I’m done with playing small, just so that others can feel comfortable.
